We are running out of space. Added four new pens to this case and it is now full. On the top row I added the short green 4 way BIC. Pastel colors just like the other green 4 ways. The first 21 pens on the top row are all 4 way BICs. Last three on the top row and the first nine BICs and the second row are 2 way BICs. Second row number 7-9 are the new BIC 2 ways in blue, pink and yellow. Don't see BIC 2 ways here in the US but they do seem to be popular overseas. There are so many BICs out there that another case may be in order. Add them all to your collection.

Wearever Ball Pens
Two items to show in this picture. First is the great counter top pen display from Wearever up on the wall. Mad Men folks found this item and I put new refills in all the pens. This cardboard display was in great shape. Then other item is the Lamy and Tradio pens. They are in a new display case I got from the closing of our local Office Depot store here in Killeen. The stores were bought by Office Max and are being closed out. You should go by your local Office Depot and see what they are selling. I bought the Schneider Pen floor display to get these plastic 30 slot pen displays. There are four of these in a Schneider Pen floor display. I paid $25.00 for the stand and all I wanted was the four pen displays. Go by and get yours. Add all this great stuff to your collection.

New Items
Here we have some new items in the Supply Room. Top left is a plastic pen stand that has the map of the US. I would think from the 50s or 60s. To the right is a new pencil in the Supply Room. A Kickstater item called a Stalwart Pencil. I think this is 3.5mm lead and the pencil came with four leads and a ballpoint pen. Made from Maple Burlword so each pencil will look different. It is a big lead but is is fun to use. Below left is the Ambition Field Notes that I saw over at Unposted. Last are two items I got from JetPens. The white 60th Anniversary Parker Jotter and the 80th Anniversary Rhodia notebook and pencil. All good stuff.
Here are two of the plastic pen holders I got from Office Depot as they close their doors. Check your local store and get yours.

My Desk 2014
I still have plenty of stuff to post but I was thinking I should show my desk where all these office and school items must pass. Can I get any work done? Yes I can but it take a while to get started. There must be 300 or 400 items on my desk and it it hard to keep up with it. The picture does not show the walls full of stuff or the cabinets to the right and left of the desk. I am currently working on some animal ordinances here in Killeen so I have other things to do. I can still sit at my desk and look for that one pen or pencil that is not in it's place. Hope your desk is cleaner and add all this great stuff to your collection.

December New Itens
Lets start on the left with my newest Nock pen holder. This one is the Lookout and has turned out to be one of my favorite. On top is a brand new 1980s Pentel PSD5. The one I had broke so Santa came through. Next is a niece Papermate Profile and a Executive refillable Flair. Every collection should have one of these. Cross refills are required to get the Flair working. Then we have a new Parker Jotter with a Indian pattern on the barrel. This should put me at at about 51 different Parker Jotters in the collection. Next is a Hi Tec C Coleto, white with gold trim from JetPens. Last is a Kickstarter project I signed up for. Most of the Kickstarter pens that I have been getting all use a Pilot Hi Tec C refill. I like those but sometimes I would prefer a wider point. This Takumi pens fits the bill. They list 50 different refills that will work in this pen and I have found a few more. You use the wrench to screw in the back of the pen to fit short or long refills I am using a Pentel EnterGel 0.5mm refill. Add all these great items to your collection and Please have a Merry Christmas.

More Stuff Around The Desk
Most all these items have been on the blog before but I am now keeping them around my desk. Top left are my best Scripto K780s , K760s and K750s. To the right are more K780s plus T220 pens and P360 pencils plus a few others. Bottom left are my BICs for the desk to include collector additions, Auto pens and the metal BIC pen. Last are the Cross Solos. These are not made any more but are available on EBay and can be bought for a nice price. I think I have all the colors. Add all these pens to your collection.

1st Give Away Of 2015
Here we have my first Give Away of the new year. There will be two main items plus a few extras. First is the Tombow AirPress pen. I have had one for some times that I got from Jetpens and it has always been in the daily rotation. These pressurized pens work great but to learn how just read the above details on how they work. Give Away will be for the white one still in the package because the other is in my pocket. This is a great pen to start the new year with. More details at www.tombowusa.com
Next item are the Q-Pins. One of these packages is open and I have been putting them up all over the Supply Room. Before you had to stick a pin through the paper as you hung it on the wall. Now you can stick paper or charts up on the wall without putting holes in the paper. They work just fine. More info at www.plushpins.com. For the Give Away. First sign on as a member, next leave a comment by 11 Jan 2015. I will be adding more items to this Give Away so sign up. US only please.

Rad And Hungry
Very few people get to go around the world and shop for office/school supplies but that is just what the folks at Rad And Hungry get to do. They bring the supplies back to the States, box them up and sell them by the box/country or by subscription. Each trip is a different box of supplies. This is the second or third set I have bought. This one is from Slovenia. In this box I got the ball point pen which was a Red Dot winner along with the plastic tape dispenser, extra roll of tape, and notebook. Pencils were a separate item. The box will also include notes about their trip. What a job. These boxes do sell out so go over to www.radandhungry.com and take your stationary trip around the world.

Stateside Co. Notebooks
I signed up again on a Kickstater project for notebooks. They are called the Stateside Co Notebooks and can be made with any of the States. They are all hand-made, using French and Tomoe River Paper in Portland Oregon. You can go over to Kickstarter and search Stateside notebooks and order some with your State.

A Mechanical Pencil
A Mechanical Pencil that will last you a lifetime. That is how this pencil is listed on Kickstarter. The inventor of this great pencil is Andrew Sanderson and he is down in Austin Texas. Just about a hour plus from me. He sent a pencil to me to review and here it is. The pencil comes in both Aluminum and Brass. I had all ready signed on some time ago to support this great project so I was extra surprised to get to review one. His original goal was $4000.00 and it is now over $100,000.00 People want this pencil. I loaded my pencil with Pentel HB soft lead and it works great.
Here are the three main part to this pencil. As I said before you can not see the lines where the tip un-screws. It looks like solid piece of aluminum with no groves to grip. Because of the diameter of this pencil you do not need any grips.
Aluminum Pencil
Length: 5.7inch
Diameter: .375 inch
Weight: .66 oz
Lead size 0.5mm
There are 8 days left so there is still time to sign on as a supporter for this great pencil. Not only will you get the pencil but there are also some stretch goal rewards. Add one to your collection. Just google a mechanical pencil that will last a lifetime and his page will come up.

Astronaut Space Pen
Had to have this 45th Anniversary First Moon Landing Space Pen. This pen is commemorating the first moon landing on July 20th 1969. This pen has a solid brass barrel finished in blue titanium nitride over chrome plating and laser engraved with the Apollo 11 logo. Writes like all Fisher Space Pens and ran me about $80.00. Add one to your collection.

More Stuff And a HBO Show
Here we have some new old items. Top is another Pentel Roller Ball desk set. Below the Pentel set is another of the Sterling Plastic Educator Boxes. I already have some of these but I do not like to pass up on a Presidents of the US one that ends in JFK. There at least five different versions of this SP#558 ending in a different President. JFK is the most desirable of the boxes. Below the box is the new BIC 4 way that has a stylus on the top. At the bottom is a 12" acrylic ruler with five pennies. On the left is a vintage Waterman ball point pen. On the right is a dealer box of Sterling Plastic 12" # 515 plastic rulers. Add all these great items to your collection. Now for some good news here in the Supply Room. We just got picked up for a new HBO TV show that will airing sometime this year. Already sent them a Box full of Pens and Pencils to get started with. This will be our third TV show since I stated the blog in 09. More to come on this.

Pentel Graph 1000
These are some of my favorite pencils and Pentel keeps adding to the selection. Starting on the left we have the Graph 1000 For Pro. The red one is a Graph 1000 Limited. Blue is a Graph 1000 x Stein, Black one is a Graph 1000 CS. Dark green pencil is the Graph 1000 with the black rubber grip and the newest one is the Graph 1000 in pale colors with this one being a light green. Add them all to your collection.

New BIC 4 Way
Some years back before any of the BIC 4 ways with rubber grips starting showing up in our stores I saw a picture from Japan of the 10 new BIC 4 Ways in ten different colors. Here is the orange one. These are nice pens because they are fine point. As you remember the original BIC 4 way in orange that also a fine point pen. This one is just better because of the grip and the style. I have 5 and I will give away 2. Just sent me an email at moose@hot.rr.com and give me an address. First two get them. I will post another picture of my complete BIC 4 way and 2 way collection so far. Add these great pens to your collection. We have our two winners.

My BIC 4 and 2 Collection
I said I would post the BIC set so far which includes the new orange BIC with rubber grip so here they are. There appears to be no end to this and I along with other collectors think BIC has done an outstanding job with their 4 and 2 way BICs. They just need to start selling them in the US. I am getting more of the orange BICs so I may be giving some away. Add all these pens to your collection.

New Pencils
Time to catch up on my new pencils. On the left is a very nice set of four Pentel Sharplet-5 A125T pencils. Don't know if these are new or not but they are very nice pencils that will see some use. Next is a Pentel Mark Sheet Sharp1.3 Am13. This one came from JetPens. Next is another one from JetPens a Orenz 0.2mm PP502. This one is only for the collection because it is just to small a lead size for me to use. Last is another JetPens pencil. A Dr. Grip 0.9mm Shaker pencil. Like that dark red color. Add all these great pencils to your collection.
↧
New 5-47 Scripto Pencil
When I stop trying to find any new Scripto Pencils for the collection I find one anyway. The top pencil is a Scripto 4-47 pencil from the 40s that I have had for some time. You can find good examples on eBay and other places and one should be in your collection. They use the standard 1.1mm lead which is also easy to fine. Now we come to the bottom pencil. A Scripto 5-47 1.1mm pencil. This pencil is in great shape and has been moved to the daily EDC group along with one of my new Pentel Sharplet -5. This pencil with eraser is 6" long while the 4-47 is only 5" long., These pencils are all aluminum and work fine. When you get one of these old pencils I recommend that you do not use the erasers. To many other good erasers out there but if you must BIC pencil erasers sometimes work. Go add a Scripto 5-47 to your collection.

Parker Vector Rollerball Pens
Parker Vector pens have been around for a while and I am sure we have all had a Vector rollerball or a fountain pen at one time or another. This is a some type of rollerball prototype set from around 1986. There is only one pen which has a blue top and blue at the very bottom of the pen yet there are three other caps in red, black and green. Nice set for my collection add one to your.
