Her are two new pens in the Supply Room. Top pen is a Conklin Herringbone ball point pen. Most places I have seen this pen for sale it is listed for about $85.00. I bid using ebay and got it for $16.00. The second pen is a Monteverde Regatta in blue and white acrylic. I have seen this pen for $$85.00 and I got it for $22.50. It does pay to shop around. Both use Parker refills so with the different refills available you are sure to find one that works for you. Add them to your collection.

American Walnut Desk Organizer
Here we have a very nice walnut desk organizer. It measures 10 1/2" by 6 1/2" and is about a inch deep. I am told from the 70s.
You open the lid and you have a slot for an eraser, below that post-it tabs that are refilled from the back of the case. Then a Rhodia small bloc pad, Post-it notes, a slot for paperclips and at the bottom a slot for a pen. I have placed this Desk Organizer on my desk and it works fine. Add one to your collection.

Scripto Action Pens And Pencils
Early 70s I would think. You had to be cool to have one of these fine sets. We have the yellow/orange T220 with a Wordpicker highlighter. Then we have the Black T220 ball point with a Wordpicker. Last we have a Scripto Thin Line 49 pencil. These use 0.9mm lead. All these are great items to collect but I think you should open them up and use them. The T220 ball point pen has always been one of my favorite pens and refills are easy to fine. Nothing like using a 40 year pen or pencil. Add them all to your collection.

All-Rite Pen And Pencil Set
I have not been adding as many displays as I did at one time but I could not pass on this one. Who did not want a nice All-Rite pen and pencil set For Christmas. These are very sharp looking pens and pencils. The pencil is a 0.9mm size but the refill for the pen is not a common type so to get one working may take some time.
These are all brand new with their nice plastic box. Add them to your collection.

Doing Some Trading with Rad and Hungry
Rad and Hungry are stationary hunters that go out and get notebooks, pens, pencils and more from different countries around the world. They do the traveling so all you have to do is look and get what you like. Well here I did some trading and look what I got. Two notebooks, one on the left appears to be from Turkey, the other from Denmark. Both have very nice paper. Three yellow BICs that look just like the ones made in France but these are made in China. Top three clear BICs have "BIC NS Fine France Design Easy Glide" printed on the side. These also are made in China. Last are three BU1s and they are made in Vietnam. Want to thank the Rad and Hungry crew for making this a very fun trade. Add all this great stuff to your collection and visit the Rad and Hungry website at www.radandhungry.com. Great Stuff.

BIC 4 Way and 2 Way Pens
This is just an update on my BIC collection. I added three new BICs to this case. Top row I added a dark blue barrel 4 way with a charm on the top and then to the far right I added an all black 4 way. Bottom row I added a green metallic 2 way to the collection. There is no end to the number of BICs out there. Add them all to your collection.

BIC Fine Point Pens
Here we have my current collection of BIC Fine Point Pens. In most cases we are talking about the original orange fine point BIC. Left side of the case are all US made BICs. Starting at the bottom left and going up we have the Auditors Fine Points followed by the PF Fine Point then the PF Office Property. A note concerning these pens with minor differences. In most cases there will be four pens to each different wording on the side of the BIC. One per color. This makes the collection endless. Next up are the PF-49 Deluxe Fine Point Pens followed by the PF-39s and a few singles like the BIC School Pen Fine. We now have the F-25s and the F-29s. These are the most common of the old orange fine point pens. There are still many orange and yellow BICs out there that I don't have but since no one seems to know what was made and when we have to continue the search. Starting at the bottom right and going up we finish the F-29s followed by the rare F-39. Only one I have every seen. Now we start with the orange BICs made overseas. We start with China then Mexico, France, and last Canada. Some of the French BICs are also Extra fine point. All the BICs are refillable so you can continue to use these great pens. Add all these great BICs to your collection.

Another Pentel Alloy EnerGel Pen
These Pentel Alloy Energel Pens are starting to look like BICs with all the new colors. I just added the Purple EnerGel pen to the collection so now there are seven. To go with the purple pen I added a purple Pentel Sharp Kerry P1035. One of the best pencils that Pentel has made. Not a exact match but close enough for my pocket. I don't know how many different colors there are but a red one would be welcome. Sitting on top of the pink post it pad are one inch aluminum tabs that can be used in your notebook. I use them in my field notes to mark sections. Add them all to your collection.

My Lamy Safari Collection
Here are my Pentel Tradios and my Lamy Safaris. There are also three Heros and Vistas in the mix. I just added the Neon Coral Ballpoint and after payday I may try and find a Neon Blue Rollerball to go with my ball point. Only the Heros, Pink Safari, Orange Safari and Vista are fountain pens. I do like the fountains but I use the rollerball more. I just have to many pens and fountain pens require more upkeep. Add all these great pens to your collection.

Parker 5th Technology Pen
This is the second one of these Parker 5th pens that I have bought. The original all stainless steel one is at the bottom and the new one is resting on the calculator. The original one cost abut $50 and I am sure it is the cheapest of the line. It is just to slippery for me. It is hard to pull the cap off so I picked up the next higher one and it works fine. The new one has a black body and lines that run the length of the body. Not sure what they coated the barrel with but there in no slipping. The new one only cost me $26.00 on a eBay auction. This 5th Technology does not appear to me to be very popular but I like it fine. I grew up on felt tips and this is a good one. Flexible point and and once you get the flow of the ink going it makes for great writing. It is made to look like a fountain pen but it is a felt tip. Yes a Radio Shack calculator and transistor radio.
Here are some felt tips from over the years. On the left we start with the Sheaffer Glideriter felt tip pen. It uses the same body and refill as the Sheaffer School Fountain Pen. Next is the Papermate Executive Flair. Flairs are still in use today but at one time they had a line of refillable Flairs. To get them working you must use Cross refills. Two Lindy felt tip pens. The yellow model is the one I remember. A Esterbrook Felt Tip and the Pentel S360 Felt Tip that has been around for many years. The Cross Felt Tip Refillable Pen and the Refillable Hallmark Felt Tip Pen. Both very collectible. Last two are the Faber Castell Grip Color Marker and the current Schneider Xpress Marker. There are plenty more out there and these are just the ones I grabbed for this post.
Here are the parts of the Parker 5th. Refills are expensive. I paid $8.00 plus shipping. You just pull the old one out and put the new one in. Add all these great felt tips and the Parker 5th to your collection. I had contacted the Parker Pen Company to ask some questions and a very nice lady named Mary Boufford the SAS Supervisor sent me two Parker 5th refills to use. The more I use this pen the better I like it.

Big Red By Parker
On the left are three Parker Big Red pens. You could get these pens in either ball point or felt tip pen with these three being ball points. The orange one and the clear one are new to the Supply Room. The Big Reds were made to look like the Parker Duofold from 1921. They were made from 1970 to 1981. The clear one made be the exception because it was made in Brazil. The three on the right are Sheaffer NoNonsense pens. Made I am sure to compete with the Parker Big Red. These are ball points and they also had as a fountain pen that used the same refill as the Sheaffer School Fountain Pen. Add all these great pens to your collection.

Old Stuff From The Desk
Anytime I can pick up a mixed bag of old items from a desk I do. The four stationary items of interest from left to right are a carpenters pencil sharpener, then a Eagle Pencil Co. old compass. Not sure of the age but I would think 40s or 50s. Next is another Scripto all metal 5-47 from the 40s or 50s. This is the second one I have picked up this year and it is not in as good of shape as the first one. The 5-47 was listed as a office pencil and the more common 4-47 was listed as a pocket pencil. Last is a Eagle Turquise "Automatic 3377" 2mm pencil which is in great shape. The other stuff is a collection of things the owner used and kept in his desk. Add all these old stationary items to your collection.

New Desk Items
If you look at the shelves on the desk you will see that I added a second level. The two shelves are part of a 1800s mail distribution center. It would of been a small post office set up in a general store. All I have left of this post office are the two shelves. They just give me another level to put stuff and stuff I have. I have been asked how do I get anything done? Well with this much stuff it sometimes can be hard. Most of my work gets done at the computer so at the desk I work on pens and pencils. I am currently getting ready to sell a few items on eBay so I am in the process of conducting a inventory. Add all this great stuff to your desk.

Pentel Rollerball Pens
I was pulling a Pentel RC-36 Clic Roller out of the case there other day and I saw that I had not said anything about these other great roller writers in some time. We start on the left with five R-3s. Four of them are different. Then two Green R-4s, three Black R-4s, Four Blue R-4s and Three Red R-4s. In the 70s and 80s you could get refills in all four colors. Now just black. Next we have two R-6s and three R-7s. The R-7s were shinny gold color with black stripes. Last in the row are two Sterling Silver rollers. At the bottom is a R-7 in a plastic case then the 24 Karat Gold Plated roller and another Sterling Silver roller. By far these are my favorite pens of all time. I bought my first one in 1978 in Mainz Germany. I think this is a complete set of these type rollers but if anybody knows of a roller that should be in this collection please let me know. Add them all to your collection.

Teen Screen 1967
When I was a your teen I would read these types of magazines all the time. Keeping up on my favorite groups like the Monkees, Paul Revere and the Raiders and Buffalo Springfield. In this issue there is a Ad for Papermate Ops N Pops pens and on the back is a Ad for Lindy Pens. In 1967 Lindy Pens had twelve different colors.
If you go to YouTube and search Papermate Ops N Pops pens you will see some old ads plus a Ops N Pops dance contest.
I will post my collection again soon. Great pens that are no more.

Pentels For a Clear Day
Since I was looking at Pentels I found these packs that I had collected. All clear pens and pencils. The pens and pencils on the top row are the Razzle-Dazzle Icy pencils, the Metallic Sunburst Christmas pack, the Carnival 0.7mm pencils in the center and on the right the Techniclick Razzle Dazzle. The Razzle Dazzle are from the early 90s when Apple came out with the iMac computer which had Razzle Dazzle colors. Bottom row has a package of two smoke colored Side Clickers. Very collectible. The Quick Dock, Pentel Metallic Sunburst, More modern Icy pencils and last the RSVP Style pens. All the older pens and pencils are good to use but are also very collectable. Add all these great items to your collection.

Tactical Marker
I do like getting in on new stationary items from KickStarter and here is a good example. This is the Tactical Marker by Bobby Davis. This marker uses the Sharpee metal refillable refills and when closed it is over 6" long. This is a big pen. You unscrew the back piece and screw on the ice breaker point or the hammer end. You can also change out the pocket clip and put the leather strap on the pen. This will make a great EDC pen. They had an additional part for a little more so you could also use G2 refills. For me the pen is just to big for general writing but a great size for a marker.
As you can see in this picture the black marker tip. The refill screws into the body. I am hoping that Sharpee comes out with some different colors for their pen. Add this great pen to your collection.
