New Items

Here are two 1960s Papermate Carpri ball poin pens. These are in great condition and still look sharp in today's shirt pocket. Papermate is still making the refills for these pens so they will be ready to go very soon.

Here we added another Papermate Ops N Pops ball point pen. I have one of the largest collections of these great pens but I had to add another. I will be re-posting the Ops N Pops along with other pens from the 60s.

 What do I have here? This is a new Craft Design Technology Pentel 0.5mm pencil.  The color is a brushed Aluminum with a ribbed white grip.

 Same size as a Pentel S55 and made in Japan. This one is going in the rotation.  Add these great pens and pencils to your collection.

Conklin Duragraph

I picked up this Conklin Duragraph fountain pen because it was on sale and it does look good. It has that old fountain pen feel to it. The color is called Amber and this one is a medium nib. It comes with two ink cartridges and can also be filled using bottled ink. I have not tested the pen yet. My current inked fountain is my Lamy Bark Lilac fountain pen.

This is my third Conklin pen and my only concern is once you post the cap you are now at 7". That is a long pen. Add one to your collection.

Pentel B100 Roller Ball Pen

Most people in the US have not seen these great Pentel pens. Standard office pens in Europe and in the far east.


I picked up a box of 10 and added them to the ones I already had.

Here we have the B100s, R50s and the blue BH16 which is a extra fine point. The R50s were the most common ones I saw in Germany. Add these great pens to your collection.

New Blackwing #56 pencils

Just got these in today. Blackwing #56 series pencils. These pencils pay tribute to the Yankee's star baseball player Joe DiMaggio.

Pencils have a pin strip down the lenght and also have a blue eraser. Starting to get a collection going with these Blackwing pencils. Add them to your collection.

Weltron 2001 Spaceball 8 Track Tape Player

Time for a break from the stationary and show a new tape player in the Supply Room. Weltron 2001 Spaceball player. It has the AM/FM radio plus the tape player.

Works good, changes channels and seems to be in good shape. I have at least eight 8 Track Tape Players and after some time they don't work so good anymore but thats Ok, they are still fun.

The player has the speakers on both sides and I think you can add more.  Add a 8 track Tape Player to your collection.

BIC PF-49s

Just added 5 dozen BIC PF-49s to the collection. Three boxes of Black ink and four dozen Red ink. Most all are dry but as is the case with many BICs they can be refilled. Will be putting together BIC sets for collectors. I plan on selling them on EBay but also through the blog.

Three dozen never used BIC Black PF-49s. They are nice.

And here we have the four dozen Red PF-49s. Add them all to your collection.

New Papermate Ops N Pops Pens

New to me but they are old. Made somewhere around 1968-1970. The yellow one is rare because not many of the pens with words on the side are around. This is my first yellow with words. These pens had 9 designs and 6 colors.

These are my last four additions. I will be posting all my Ops N Pops along with the Scripto Action pens. Add all these great pens to your collection.

The Parker Vector Rollerball has been around for some time. I took one to Desert Storm. This is just a nice set of un-opened pens. I think I will just let them stay in the package for now. Add them all to your collect.

 I did not see much this year. I think my problem is that I seem to have more then the store does. Anyway I went to Office Depot, Target and Walmart but only picked up a few items. I do like color so as you can see I bought color. Do like those fountain pen colors. More BICs and Papermates. Neon folders.

New Old Pentel Q545

Here we have a new addition to the Pentel collection. A Sharplet 500 Q545 Pentel pencil. This one came to the Supply Room from a seller and friend in Brazil. This pencil is 5 1/4" long and has the green eraser with pin. Late 70s early 80s I would think.

 Check out that crazy pocket clip.

This pencil has the rubber grip with the black strip body. Add this pencil to your collection.

More Pentels To Collect

Another Pentel that is highly collectable are the Sharplet pencils. Starting at the top are three A115s, and a 03 A123. Next are four A125 Sharplet-5s. The next eight are A125s, a Olympic A125, three A125 Sharplet-2s, A Sharplet-3 A-125A and a A127.

 Another A127, two A129s, a Sharplet P15. Last is a Sharplet 300. I have added more since the picture was taken. Add all of these to your collection.

Back To The 60s Again

Here we have my complete papermate Ops N Pops collection to date. My plan is to try and find the nine designs in the five colors. Never did know why there was no green or blue.

Here are the 9 designs in the best condition. The yellow one in the middle with the black polka dots was the one on the TV show Mad Men.

Here is my second set of ten. Off to the right are two pens that have just about lost their design. Use the pen to long and the designs come off.

 Here is how they would look on a card.

Other wanted to get in on the mod pens like this complete set of Scripto Action Pens.

 Two extras. These action pens are not as well made as the Papermates. Very difficult to get working refills to fit. I did not send any of these Scriptos to be on the Mad Men TV show just for that reason.

I do not know who made this pen but it would be a good guess that it was going to compete with Papermate and the Scriptos. Add all these pens to your collection.

New BICs For School

I just did not see anything real new out there for school till I saw these New BICs Xtra fine point pens. I don't think I have ever seen two tone caps. What a great Idea.

Four have white barrels and four have clear barrels. These are made in Mexico. Add them to your collection.

Nice Additions

Here are some nice additions to the Supply Room collection.

Start first with the nice Pentel set. We have the R7 rollerball pen with the matching 0.5mm pencil. I have a few of the pens but this is my first matching pencil. Anyone know the model of this pencil? My 84 Pentel catalog shows the pen but not the pencil. This one has never been used.

Next is a new P205 Pentel pencil in yellow with red lettering. The P209 yellow is more of a mustard
color. My first yellow P205.

Last is a Papermate Ops N Pops pen but with colors that are not part of the original set. As you can see the circles have a florescent orange color. Can't tell if the circles were printed all over the pen or just the top of the pen and around the clip. I checked to see if the circles are stickers but they appear to be printed. A new one on me. Add all these great pens and pencils to your collection.

 Here we have a great example of a older Parker Jotter with a extra extra fine point refill.  I don't think these refills are made anymore. This one was a store display pen.  Add all the great Parker Jotters to your collection.

Pentel P200 Family

I may have one or two more somewhere in the office. There are also plenty new ones out there that I don't have. I remember when the first Pentel P200s came out in the 70s. I was in Germany at the time and every time they would be on the PX shelve I would buy all they had alone with the R3 rollerball pens.

Top row are all P205s except the last two which are P215 and P219. As you can see there are two with the new gold trim, marbled P205 plus the carbon fiber P205.

 Here we have the P207s and P209s. There is also a P327, PS315, PS 523 and the three PFs for writing on film. Last are my new P205, P207 and P209 from Brazil. Those last three are real hot pink and have the word "Collection" printed on the side. Add all these great pencils to your collection.

Sterling Plastic Pencil Box

 Here we have another Sterling Plastic Pencil Box. My collection is always growing with different pencil boxes and this one is from 1963. This model is a #631 that clips to your binder. The only real problem is that the binder can not be to thick. The box came with two pencils so you would be ready to go. Add these great pencil boxes to your collection.

Scripto On Display

 Scripto pen and pencils have always been a big part of the collections. While Scripto may not be big today they were in the past. My collection runs from the 1940s to the 1990s. I have a very large collection of pens and pencil and will be re-posting some of them very soon. This picture was taken at some kind of Trade Show. Add all these great pens, pencils and lighters to your collection.

Rekonect Notebook

Here is a Kickstarter notebook I just got in the mail. A rekonect notebook. Down the spine of the notebook is a magnet and all the pages have some kind of metal strip down one side.This way you can take the pages out. write or draw on them and return them to the notebook.

 The notebook does take some time to get use to it. The instructions say don't take all the pager out at one time so that was what I did. I see why they tell you not to do that.

 This notebook is not for everybody because it does require maintenance that some people just to do not want to fool with.  I find it fun so I will be using my notebook very soon. Add one to your collection.

Just Some Of The Pentels

This is not all but I had this row out of the Pentel cabinet so I just took some pictures.

There are more pencils then there is space for but the collection must go on.
