2016 Sherpa

What better way to celebrate the elections of 2016 but with the new 2016 sherpa pens. There are two of them. One to support the Republican party and one to support the Democrat party.



 Here are the pens. On the left is the Republican pen and on the right is the Democrat pen.  Hillary vs Trump. What a battle. As with all these new Sherpa pens they come with two refills one a Sharpie and one made by sherpa just for the sherpa pen.  Add them both to your local elections.

Monteverde Pen Case

I do own a Monteverde roller ball pen but this story is about a pen case that everybody should own. I have started to see the price increase of many of the retro 51 pens that I own but did not have any where to store them. I have a very cheap pen stand on the does desk but that would not do.

The case is made of some type of fiber board and has wood sides.

Inside are ten soft slots for your finish pens.

So here is where my Retro 51 pens now rest. First eight glow in the dark and the last one is the Space Invaders pen. The case was $30.00 which includes shipping. Add the case and the pens to your collection.

Lindy Pen Set

Lindy did like to put their top of the line pen and pencil sets in nice plastic cases. These were used as give-aways for radio spots and as their executive pen sets. This is my third set. The other gold set the pen did not work and in this one the pencil did not work so I switched. The silver color set the pencil does not work.

This set is fine now so I will put them in the rotation and see how they work 45 years after they were made. Add them all to your collection.

ACME Rat Fink Pen

Those were the days. All us kids had Rat Fink T-shirts and thoughts of the beach and the the hot cars. Now that I am older I just wanted the pen. Rat Fink was created in 1963 so there were 1963 pens made. This one is SN# 0985. These pens are not cheap. There is one on eBay with a small display and he wants around $300.00. I changed out the original grip on this pen for the rubber one.

 Ed Big Daddy Roth would be proud of this Rat Fink ACME pen. Add one to your collection.

Pentel Ceramicron

Here we have four pencils and two pens from Pentel. Starting on the left we have four Pentel P125 pencils followed by a Pentel SR120 and last a green SR305 pen. Both pens are refillable. I have only seen the SR120 in brushed aluminum so there appears not to be a matching pen to go with the blue, green or the brown pencils. The SR305 came in four colors red, blue, orange, and the green.


The pen will use the 02, 03 or the 04mm Ceramicron cartridge. You can also use the MG8 rollerball refills.

Many of these refills have made it to the present day so they can still be found. Add them all to your collection.

Retro 51 Cat Rescue Pen

Still waiting on the Dog Rescue Retro 51 pen but I had to post the Cat pen. These new pens from Retro 51 are outstanding and they glow in the dark.  A portion of the price goes to Best Friends Rescue so you need to pick one up. Will post the Dog Rescue when it comes in. I have noticed that the collector price on some of these Retro 51 pens are going through the roof so buy yours now. Add them to your collection.

Parafernalia Ballpoint Pen

Here we have a new ballpoint pen for the Supply Room. Not sure how to use it. The pen writes fine and it is very comfortable in your hand. The only problem is the pocket clip. Very small and the rubber ball on the end will fall off. I used some super glue to fix that.


Friends of mine in England bought the pen for me because it was cheaper to buy in England. Costs too much here in the US. Parafernalia now has ballpoints, pencils and fountain pens. Add one to your collection.

New And Old

Just picked up these great pens and pencils. On the left is a dozen Bic PF Hospital Property pens. BIC had Office Property, School Property and Hospital Property pens. You collectors out there may need to contact me if you are missing these in your collections. In the middle we have ten Lindy Legal Writer 860 Fine Point pens. These are the type of Lindys that I can refill.  Plenty of people out there that remember Lindy pens. On the right are the Blackwing Pearl pencils. These have been out for some years but I never added a box to my collection. I have extra of many of the pens and pencil I post here in the Supply Room so I will be up-dating the bottom right of the home page with what I have for sale. I am also going to start selling what I call starter sets of different pens and pencils on eBay. Add all these great items to your collection.

New BIC 4 Way Pen

My good friends in England keep me up to date on anything new in the pen world and here it is. A new BIC 4 Way with a clear lime green body and missing the green ink. In its place is yellow ink.


 While a little hard to see it does write yellow. In fact it writes like those crayon highlighters. Very cool and very smooth. I hope this means an all new set of BIC 4 Ways with the clear bottoms ini different colors. Add this great pen to your collection. PS, this is not all they sent me so more to come.

Retro 51 Pens

Here are my current Retro 51 pens plus one Acme. The first 13 all glow in the dark. Last three are the Apollo, Space Invaders and the Acme Rat Fink Pen. The Retro 51 display case just came in the mail today. As you can see it will hold 16 pens. 13th from the left is the 4 Ever Pen which came to me from my friends in England.


Here they are with the lights out.


This maybe what happens to Ink Pens that pass on. Add them all to your collection.

Caran d'Ache Pop Dots 849

Not the biggest collections of pens but after the Neon Orange and the Street Art Orange I had to add the four Caran d'Ache Pop Dots 849s to my collection. I love the colors but something about a pen that has the name Pop in it reminds me of the Papermate Ops N Pops pens from the late 60s and early 70s.

 The refills in these pens seem to last forever and they do look nice on my non-profit calender for 2106. Add all these great pens to your collection.

Scripto In The Mail

Want to thank Derek from Derek's Pen and Pencil blog for sending me this nice collection of Pentel,  Scripto/Uni pens and pencils.

Pentel refills are always needed in the Supply room. Next are two great Scripto GiGi pens with a free highlighter from around 2002.

 Starting on the left is a Uni Jetstream 101, Pentel Linestyle, Pentel Impulse, Pentel Capri pen in black and one in blue. Last is a Pentel Quickball pen. Again I want to thank Derek for all these great pens and pencils.  Add them all to your collection.

New Cross Pen

This past year Cross came out with the Star Wars pens which included the Darth Vader, C-3PO, and the Stromtropper pens. Now we have the MARVEL set of three. I only picked up the Captain America pen but you can also get the Iron Man, and the Spider-Man pens. All these pens are in the $40.00 plus range. Cross also has the $100.00 plus pens which I do not plan on adding to the collection. Add them all to your collection.

Another TV Show

I have been busy down in the Supply Room. In June I sent off pens and pencils for a movie and now a new TV show on FX called Snowfall. Starting to run low on refills and some pens. First time I let go of a Hallmark pen and pencil set. Time to restock. Add all these great pens to your collection.

Pentel 50th Anniversary Sign Pens

These turned out to be a nice set of 12 Pentel Sign Pens. Pentel has them on there website but they are the original solid color pens. These are from a seller on ebay.


Take them out of the plactic and you have a cardboard cup to keep the pens in. The body of the pen is white and has the Pentel Sign Pen logo on the side. Pens still have a fiber point that will hold up.

These pens have been around for some time so it is nice to see a different look. Add them to your collection.

New Pentel ORENZ

Up untill now we had these four ORENZ pencils 02, 03 with rubber grip and the metal. Now we add these new two tone Pentel pencils in four new designer colors. I only have three of them. Pink and brown is missing.
